Report from last LCD Sound System show at Madison Square Garden: Guy from great band Cheeseburger just did “man on street” interviews in front of MSG during LCD intermission on the jumbotrons! Shows you don’t have to be young and cute to do great interviews

Now this type of situation is the coolest thing about sxsw:  I hear J Mascus from Dinosaur Jr’s voice floating through the air. I follow the sound for 8 blocks to an unknown outdoor venue, go in for free and walk right up to the front of stage to enjoy J sitting there w just a loud distorted acoustic guitar soloing and singing, he’s just sitting in a chair in the sun. Absolutely amazing!
